This unique cookbook documents the Italian impact on Monterey's fishing heritage and features Chef Pisto's personal stories of growing up in an Italian family in the wake of the sardine boom John Steinbeck made famous. The cookbook, which has taken its title from the chef's internationally syndicated television show, features dozens of historical photographs and an entertaining storyline interspersed with over 75 easy to prepare recipes.
